The latest trailer for 'The Odyssey' gives a thrilling look at Robert Pattinson stepping into a dark villain role.

Released by Universal Pictures on 5th May, the preview highlights director Christopher Nolan's ambitious take on the classic story inspired by Homer's Odyssey.

Matt Damon leads the film as Odysseus, a warrior trying to return home to Ithaca years after fighting in the Trojan War. Tom Holland plays his son Telemachus, while Anne Hathaway appears as his wife Penelope.

The star-studded cast also features Lupita Nyong'o, Elliot Page, Mia Goth, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Jon Bernthal and Zendaya.

The film is described as a large-scale action epic filmed across multiple locations using advanced IMAX technology.

'The Odyssey' Filming

Nolan shared that the movie will run for less than three hours, making it shorter than his previous film, 'Oppenheimer,' while still maintaining an epic scale.

He also spoke about the intense filming process, explaining that the shoot was extremely challenging but in a way that suited the story. He praised Matt Damon's dedication, noting that the actor worked through tough conditions, including rough weather, remote locations, and physically demanding environments.

'The Odyssey' is set to hit theatres on 17th July.
