Little Mix Drop a break Up Song

Little mix dropped their latest break up anthem! The track , titled “Break up song” is from their sixth untitled album. They took it to social media earlier this week to confirm the release of the first single off of their sixth album. Fans were excited to learn that the song showcases their vulnerability and their individual struggles with breaking up with a partner.

Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards released a snippet of the song, alongside a teaser video, in which they all sport iconic 80s style looks, and fans immediately started losing it.

The song preaches about putting your break up behind you with verses like “I’ll be?good all by myself / Yeah I’ll find a way to dance without you / In the middle of the crowd / I’ll forget all of the pain inside”. Followed by a group verse that punched us right in the feels, “I’ll be?good all by myself / Yeah I’ll find a way to dance without you / In the middle of the crowd / I’ll forget all of the pain inside”.

Like many of the group’s tracks , “Break Up Song” is very relatable and melodramatic. Servin us the 80’s looks in their poster art , the song gives off emo vibes from “No More Sad Songs” and the fun vibes from “Black Magic”.

Fans have been flooding the internet with praises for the OG girl group. One person tweeted: “I COULD CRY BREAK UP SONG IS SO GOOD”. Another added: “Break up song reminds me of no more sad songs but it’s even better AND NMSS IS MY FAV SONG”. Little mix be making sure we don’t text our Ex’s this quarantine , what more could we ask for! #LittleMixForPresident.
