Ari Never Left Where?

With the start of the new year, all eyes are on the biggest artists dominating the music charts, hoping to see if they’ll drop anything soon. Some have delivered; others are remaining mysteriously quiet, possibly just to keep the suspense going. Ariana Grande seems to fall in the latter group of artists as she was recently spotted in her studio with frequent collaborators Social House, superproducer TBHits, songwriter Njomza and more.

This, unsurprisingly, has led to a lot of speculation that she’s working on new music. Mr. Franks — who collaborated with her on Dangerous Woman , added fuel to the fire when she tagged Grande in an Instagram Story, writing “wut just happened @arianagrande” alongside a photo from behind the console.

But fans might be a bit disappointed because without missing a beat, Grande shot down every rumour there was about the possibility of new music. “Neva left even when I was on tour,” she replied to one fan account before adding, “please relax nothing’s coming.”

As of now, we’re not sure if Ari’s actually working on new music or a possible collab, but the good news is, we’ll always be prepared in case she suddenly drops something!
