It looks like things might be getting a bit tense between long-time friends Justin Bieber and Usher. According to reports from TMZ, the two stars were involved in a heated exchange during Beyoncé and Jay-Z's famous Oscars after-party at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

Witnesses say Usher approached Bieber with a lot of visible frustration and anger, leading to a tense confrontation between the two. The party was packed with A-listers, including Justin's wife Hailey Bieber, recent Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan, and other big names like Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Justin Bieber and Usher's Clash

This drama comes as a surprise, given their long history. Usher famously helped launch Bieber’s career back in 2008 and has been a mentor to him for years. While they've collaborated many times, there have been small signs of distance recently.

In 2024, Usher mentioned that he invited Justin Bieber to perform during his Super Bowl halftime show, but Justin turned it down. At the time, Usher insisted there was no bad blood and suggested Justin simply wanted to focus on a different direction for his career, noting that the Super Bowl comes with a ton of pressure.

While his relationship with Usher might be rocky, Justin is staying busy. He is currently gearing up to headline Coachella this spring. He's been inviting fans to follow his journey on Twitch, where he plans to livestream his daily life and rehearsals leading up to the festival. He told his followers he's incredibly excited to put on a massive show and plans to share almost every moment of the process with them.
