Ryan Gosling is definitely keeping the fire alive when it comes to those 'Ghost Rider' rumours. While the Oscar-nominated actor has mentioned his interest in the Marvel antihero before, he’s now confirming that there is still hope he might actually land the role.
During a recent appearance on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, host Josh Horowitz asked Gosling point-blank if he's had any meetings with Marvel boss Kevin Feige about playing the flame-skulled biker. Ryan Gosling admitted that some discussions have actually taken place, though he teased that the situation is a bit complicated.

'Ghost Rider' History
The character has a long history on screen, starting with Nicolas Cage, who played the stuntman-turned-demon-hunter Johnny Blaze in the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel. Later, Gabriel Luna took on a different version of the character, Robbie Reyes, in the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' television series. Even Kevin Feige weighed in back in 2022, noting that he would love to find a spot for Gosling in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
