George Clooney may have a filmography packed with hits, but don't expect him to sit back and rewatch them anytime soon. As he gets closer to turning 65, the actor admits revisiting his older movies isn't something he enjoys much.
Speaking at the 51st Chaplin Award gala in New York City, Clooney shared that watching his younger self on screen can feel strange. He explained that with time, it becomes harder to connect with those past versions of himself, especially when he looks so different now.
That said, there are a few exceptions. He recently watched 'Fantastic Mr Fox' with his 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella. Since it's an animated film and only features his voice, he said the experience felt lighter and more enjoyable. It also gave his kids a fun glimpse into what he does for a living.

For the most part, though, George Clooney prefers focusing on the present rather than looking back. Still, with a milestone birthday around the corner, he hinted that he might eventually take a trip down memory lane in the future.
George Clooney's Career
The event itself celebrated Clooney's long and impactful career, honouring his contributions to cinema. He attended alongside his wife, Amal Clooney, while friends and collaborators praised not just his work on screen, but also his generosity, humanitarian efforts and lasting influence in the industry.
Even as he reflects on ageing and career milestones, Clooney shows no signs of slowing down. With new projects on the horizon, including another 'Ocean's' film, he's clearly still focused on what's next rather than what's already behind him.
