Aubrey Plaza let us in on her White House adventure, confessing to a bit of thievery during a visit to Joe Biden's office. The actor, famed for her role in the HBO hit, 'The White Lotus,' recently reminisced about her various encounters with the President.
Speaking to The New Yorker, Plaza revealed that she had crossed paths with Biden multiple times, tracing back to her teenage years at a "Joe Biden youth-leadership conference" at the tender age of 16.

Recalling the youth conference, Plaza didn't mince her words: "I had a stare-down with Joe Biden from the audience because he asked how it went, and I raised my hand immediately." Unimpressed by the event, she bluntly expressed, "It's bulls—. This conference sucks. You didn't let us talk. This was supposed to be about the students."

The rendezvous with Biden didn't end there. Plaza found herself in the company of the future President again during the filming of Parks And Recreation at the White House. Before the official tour, Plaza bumped into Biden, who surprisingly knew her by name. However, the mystery of how he remembered her was unravelled when she stumbled upon a note in the Vice President's office.

"I saw a note on his desk that had been written by his assistant on official White House stationery that said, ‘Aubrey Plaza’ — underlined — ‘Wilmington, Delaware. You met her at the Joe Biden youth-leadership conference when she was 16,'" Plaza disclosed. Realizing Biden's impressive memory, or perhaps some well-prepared notes, she cheekily decided to pocket the memo.
Mike Schur, the creator of 'Parks And Recreation,' was less than thrilled with Plaza's impromptu souvenir acquisition, warning her about the consequences of pilfering from the White House. Plaza quipped, "I don't give a shit! I know what he did! He didn't know me!"

Despite the potential for repercussions, Plaza managed to evade the White House cameras. However, her heist didn't stand the test of time, as she admitted losing the note. Reflecting on her missed opportunity, she mused, "Can you imagine if I'd kept it? I could've framed it or sold it. Now he's the President – I had no idea."
