collaboration ever in all these years, Eminem and Kid Cudi have released the track, 'The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady'. The 4 min track offers a sound far from familiar, at least with regards to Eminem. Striking a balance between hard-hitting raps, intricate flows and a slow-paced beat, this one gives you the best of both worlds.
Kid Cudi operates in a familiar space, reverting to his older ways of rapping. Admitting to getting a little "trippy" and going back to his roots, the "Moon Man" is grounded in these bars. Cudi's verse is one of offbeat flows, witty rhymes and skillful quips.
Eminem arrives at the halfway mark in surprising form. The rapper who is famous for his high-energy, fierce raps, tones it down. Not taking away from the ferocity of his lyricism, Slim Shady meets fans with a mellow tone. Experimenting with a brand new style, this verse is up for debate.
The release of 'The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady' is accompanied by a nostalgic animated video, depicting the two rappers in superhero form. Mirroring the theme of the track - a humble claiming of the throne, the video sees the rappers through their storyline.
