BTS Is Launching a Weekly Series Called ‘BTS Radio: Past & Present’

Through a new Apple Music weekly limited series, BTS will reveal their steady rise to K-pop superstardom. The first episode premiered on 28th May at 6 a.m. PDT.

BTS will debut their new show ‘BTS Radio: Past & Present’ on Apple Music 1 on 26th May, according to the streaming service. The three-part limited series will air weekly in the lead-up to the band’s new anthology album ‘Proof’, which will be released on 10th June. The first episode will premiere on 28th May at 6 a.m. PDT.

The Grammy Award-nominated band will take listeners on a journey to greatness, sharing stories and music that influenced them along the way. Hit songs like ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’ have made the group famous.

BTS discusses the formation of the group with music that inspired its sound and aesthetic in the first episode. The band selects some of the BTS ARMY’s favourite songs in the second episode, which airs on 3rd June. In the last episode on 10th June, BTS reveals how the group came to be known as a global music phenomenon.

The new anthology comes after BTS’ fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, ‘Be’, which was released in 2020. ‘Be’ was also the pop group’s second chart-topper in 2020, following ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, which debuted at No. 1 on the 7th March list.
