Bring Me The Horizon has announced that "around 45
tracks" have been recorded for their upcoming album. The band's most
recent release was the 'Post Human: Survival Horror' EP, which was released in
October of 2020.
Frontman Oli Sykes told NME last year that the band was
working on parts two, three, and four simultaneously and that they hoped to get
songs out as quickly as they could.
In September 2021, the Sheffield rock giants gave fans a taste of what to anticipate from 'Post Human 2' by releasing a new track called 'DiE4u.' Sykes has provided an update on the record as well as their upcoming schedule in a new interview.

He told BANG Showbiz (via Contact Music) that hopefully, if
the world goes well, they'll be playing a lot of gigs. There are a lot of European
events, and they'll be in the United States in September. Also, hopefully, a
new album.
They’ve been working on it for almost a year now and have
got loads of music. He stated that they are just being very selective about
what they want to release. Bring Me The Horizon and Sigrid collaborated on a
new song, 'Bad Life,' last month.
The song is the latest in BMTH's string of successful collaborations. Prior to the release of 'Bad Life,' the band appeared on the Masked Wolf single 'Fallout,' then in March, the band collaborated with Machine Gun Kelly on the song 'Maybe.'

Meanwhile, Charlie Simpson, the vocalist of Fightstar and a
former member of Busted, has hinted that a collaboration with BMTH could be in
the works. Simpson was questioned about his career in the latest episode of
NME's ‘Does Rock 'N' Roll Kill Braincells?!’
He was quizzed about his previous band's debut single, 'What
I Go To School For,' at one point. In his reply, the artist stated that
keyboardist Jordan Fish of Bring Me The Horizon told him that those Busted
songs are f*****g bangers.
