Xperience Sessions Featuring Vasu Dixit & RJ Neerja

This week’s Xperience Session witnessed the superstar, Vasu Dixit, on board to talk about all things music. Dixit is currently a part of Swarathma, the Bangalore-based folk/fusion band. The band was formed in 2002 in Mysore when Dixit met Abhinanth Kumar on guitars, with the objective of creating original music.

As the COVID-19 pandemic chugs on, Vasu Dixit, has found the time to think about and experiment with new styles of music. In fact, Swarathma just came out with a tune titled, ‘Mushkil Mein Jeena’, that calls for people to carry on and keep moving forward, despite the chaos that COVID-19 has brought with it.

When it comes to the songwriting process and concepts behind a lot of his tunes, Dixit has a bucket list of issues that he wants to tackle. With the next number he plans to put out, he wants to delve into the topic of mental health.

In this interview, we also put Dixit on the spot and asked him to pick out one instrument he’d love to dabble with, as a Folk musician. We know, we know, it’s a painfully difficult question but he approached it with quite the thoughtful answer.

RJ Neerja also spiced things up by playing a fun little game with the star. Anyway, before we give too much away about this lovely Xperience Session, go on and watch.

Between The Lines Ep.16 : Maroon 5 and more

Between The Lines, episode 16 is here with Aatira, who is going to make sure you change your interpretations of many songs. On today’s episode, we have Maroon 5, Foo Fighters and The Beatles to make you feel a bit nasty.

The episodes of Between The Lines target at songs that we’ve all heard from time to time, over the years. However we never realized they were sexual in nature or maybe just out of our understanding capacity because we were young, of course or maybe we just didn’t pay that much attention to the deeper meanings of the lyrics.

Between The Lines Ep 16 brings you songs like ‘Animals‘ by Maroon 5, ‘Ticket To Ride‘ by The Beatles and ‘All My Life‘ by Foo Fighters. We bet you would not have imagined these songs were about sex but turns out they’re.

Take a look at it!
