Lady Gaga confirmed that Joaquin Phoenix and her will co-star in the upcoming sequel to Todd Phillips' 2019 movie 'Joker'. The musician and actor, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, shared a trailer for the movie on 4th August, confirming her and Phoenix's participation in 'Joker: Folie à Deux'. In June, Phillips shared a cover of the screenplay co-written with colleague, Scott Silver and a picture of Phoenix reading it, confirming that a Joker sequel was in the works.
