Will Smith is back in the spotlight, thanks to the success of his latest film, ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die,’ the fourth instalment of the action-packed franchise. Despite a challenging summer for Hollywood movies, this latest entry is performing well at the box office. But what about a fifth film in the series? Smith and his co-star, Martin Lawrence, have some good news for fans, with one condition.
The ‘Bad Boys’ movies have collectively grossed over $800 million worldwide, with the latest instalment debuting to $56 million in the U.S. and $105 million globally. With such success, the question arises: will there be another instalment? In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Smith and Lawrence expressed their interest in revisiting their iconic roles, but they have some conditions.

Smith mentioned that younger actors may need to take on more of the action stunts. While he enjoys returning to the world of ‘Bad Boys,’ he stressed the importance of a meaningful storyline for any potential sequel, wanting the characters to evolve in interesting ways.
Lawrence echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of giving fans what they want. As long as there is demand and a logical continuation of the story, he is open to returning for another film.

The duo, with a history dating back thirty years to the original 1995 film, acknowledge their age but aren't quite ready to retire their characters. They joke about passing on the franchise to younger actors but hint that they might have one more film left in them before doing so.
