The aftermath of the 'Star Wars' sequel trilogy left the galaxy in disarray, devoid of a governing force like the Republic, Empire, or First Order. However, Rey and the upcoming ‘Star Wars: New Jedi Order’ movie hold the potential to redefine everything. With the destruction of the New Republic and the Resistance overcoming the First Order, the galaxy is left without a centralized government.

Rey's new Jedi Order, guided by ancient texts from Ahch-To, is set to explore uncharted territories in live-action. Beyond introducing unique lightsaber colours and stances, the movie confronts the unprecedented challenge of navigating a galaxy without a governing body, marking a significant shift in the Star Wars narrative.

Star Wars, since the High Republic era, has consistently revolved around efforts to unify and govern the entire galaxy. The Jedi Order served the Republic, the Rebel Alliance opposed the Empire, and the Resistance combated the First Order. However, the New Jedi Order has a unique opportunity to break this tradition. Unlike previous stories, it operates in a galaxy without a centralized government to serve or oppose.

This opens the door for Rey's Order to redefine the Jedi's role, correcting past mistakes and emphasizing service to the entire galaxy rather than a specific government's interests. Navigating a galaxy without a central authority also presents intriguing prospects, delving into the aftermath of the First Order's fall and exploring the dynamics between independent planets.

Rey's Order faces not only the challenges of a galaxy in flux but also the complexities of diverse political systems and interplanetary relationships.

In the absence of a centralized galactic government and after decades of dormancy, Rey's New Jedi Order faces the challenge of returning to the Order's independent peacekeeping roots. Without a recognized authority and navigating a galaxy scarred by regime changes, the Order's establishment is no easy feat.

However, this lack of a predefined authority could be the key to addressing historical issues. Rey's Order, devoid of external influence, has the opportunity to build its authority by delivering impartial justice throughout the galaxy.

As word of their virtuous deeds spreads, the Order's reputation would grow, gaining recognition without the backing of a governing body. This unique approach keeps the Order focused on peacekeeping, free from external interests. With Rey at the helm, the New Jedi Order movie has the potential to fix historical Jedi Order issues and redefine the very essence of Star Wars.
