Similar to the reception of Barbie, another film infused with vibrant pink aesthetics, 'Mean Girls' drew a predominantly female audience during its opening weekend, with women comprising a significant majority at 76% of ticket buyers.

The latest rendition of 'Mean Girls' features Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, and Reneé Rap, who previously portrayed Regina in the stage adaptation. Initially slated for a direct release on Paramount Plus, the studio altered its course after receiving positive test scores.
