Jonathan Scott and his fiancée Zooey Deschanel are fully embracing the holiday season! The star of ‘Property Brothers’, aged 45 and the 43-year-old actress have gone above and beyond in adorning their home, turning it into a captivating winter wonderland, according to details shared by Jonathan's twin brother, Drew Scott.

Since Los Angeles lacks natural snow, Jonathan has taken the initiative to bring the snowy ambience to their home using a snow machine. Drew shares, "Because we don't have snow here in L.A., Jonathan got a snow machine, so he's going to be creating a snow sledge. So we'll bring [my son] Parker over, and the other kids will all be there. That's going to be pretty exciting."

Drew further explains that their family will be shuttling between Jonathan and Zooey's residence and the home Drew shares with his wife Linda Phan and their 17-month-old son, Parker, throughout the holiday festivities this month.

"So we're both hosting at different times Christmas dinner and then Christmas breakfast," he mentions. "Our mom loves to cook Christmas breakfast for everybody. She does her famous hollandaise sauce and Eggs Benedict, so that'll be great." Get ready for a season filled with joy and shared celebrations between the Scott brothers and their loved ones!

Jonathan humorously notes that the holiday hustle and bustle will serve as excellent preparation for him and Deschanel, who got engaged in August, as they gear up to plan their wedding.

"We're going to navigate through the holidays, and then we've got—the wedding planning is probably the ultimate party to organize," he shares, referring to the couple's upcoming nuptials. "So we'll consider the holidays and our carolling party as... well, just a warmup to the big party." While Jonathan and Deschanel have been busy sprucing up their own home for the festive season, he and his brother recently took on an even grander holiday decorating challenge: the White House.

In a special aired on HGTV titled ‘White House Christmas 2023,’ the brothers, along with 300 volunteers, adorned America's most famous residence. During the program, Jonathan explained that they had a mere 72 hours to transform the White House, aiming to evoke the nostalgic feeling of Christmas morning for everyone involved.

Jonathan marvelled at the enormity of everything, emphasizing that, even as adults, the White House decorations evoke the excitement of Christmas morning. Drew chimed in, expressing, "It's like that whimsical and fun feeling from our childhood during the holidays. I can sense it already." According to a press release, this year's transformation of the White House for Christmas involved an impressive array of decorations, including 142,425 holiday lights, 98 Christmas trees, 33,892 ornaments, and 22,000 bells.

Jonathan shared, "In the end, it's the most magical Christmas display I think I've ever seen." He explained that all the creative ideas originated from the first lady, Dr. Jill Biden, who conceptualized them. Then everyone collaborated to bring them to life within a tight timeframe.

"It pays tribute to every state and showcases the beauty from all over the country," he added. "So it really is an incredible experience to be a part of it."
