The 2024 Dorian Awards are setting the stage on fire and Searchlight's ‘All of Us Strangers’ is stealing the spotlight with a whopping nine nominations. But wait Warner Bros' powerhouse ‘Barbie’ is not far behind, flexing its muscles with seven nods. Netflix's ‘May December’ is in the race with six nominations, closely trailed by A24's ‘Past Lives’ with five and Searchlight's ‘Poor Things’ with four.

‘All of Us Strangers’ is locking horns with MGM's ‘Bottoms,’ Mubi/SBS' ‘Passages,’ Netflix's ‘Rustin’ and Amazon MGM's ‘Saltburn’ in the battle for LGBTQ 'Film of the Year.'

'The Director of the Year' category is no less intense, featuring the likes of Oscar-snubbed ‘Barbie’ director Greta Gerwig, Andrew Haigh (‘All of Us Strangers’), Todd Haynes (‘May December’), Christopher Nolan (‘Oppenheimer’) and Celine Song (‘Past Lives’).

Beyond the usual suspects, the Dorians are introducing three new categories in 2024 to spice things up: LGBTQ 'Screenplay of the Year,' LGBTQ 'Non-English Language Film of the Year' and 'Genre Film of the Year,' focusing on sci-fi, horror and fantasy gems.
