Riot Games and Netflix have officially confirmed that the upcoming second season of 'Arcane' will be the series' last. The announcement came with a new teaser trailer, setting the stage for the much-anticipated finale.

According to the teaser, 'Arcane' Season Two will pick up right where Season One left off. Fans will remember the dramatic climax with Jinx (voiced by Ella Purnell) launching an attack on the Piltover council. This incident triggers a significant escalation in the conflict between Piltover and Zaun, ultimately leading to a showdown between Jinx and her sister Vi (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld).

While it’s bittersweet news that 'Arcane' is coming to an end, co-creator Christian Linke assures fans that this is just the beginning of Riot Games’ grand storytelling journey. He explained, “From the very beginning, we had a very specific ending in mind for 'Arcane,' which wraps up with this second season. But 'Arcane' is just the first of many stories we want to tell in the world of Runeterra.”

'Arcane''s first season was a massive success for Netflix. It quickly soared to the top of the streaming service’s global charts, even dethroning the popular K-drama 'Squid Game' within a week of its debut. The series also garnered critical acclaim, winning 'Best Adaptation' at The Game Awards 2022, beating competitors like 'Sonic The Hedgehog 2' and 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.'

Additionally, earlier that year, 'Arcane' clinched four out of the five Emmy awards it was nominated for, including 'Outstanding Animated Program.'
