16-year-old, Elicia Palmer was travelling through London’s Tottenham Court Road underground station when she spotted a musician playing the station’s public piano. Keen for a duet, the pianist approached her to make his musical request – but at the time, the she was unaware it was Brendan Kavanagh, a well known concert pianist. The talented teen, who is classically trained, chose to sing a moving rendition of ‘Edelweiss’, a classic from ‘The Sound of Music’. This is what spontaneous music is all about!
