A fifth song title from Taylor Swift's upcoming album, ‘Midnights,’ has been revealed.
The singer-songwriter went on to announce the name of track two, ‘Maroon,’ in the second installment of her TikTok series ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me’. Swift once more selected the music at random when introducing it, by spinning a cage of balls and selecting one. It comes after earlier songs with names like ‘Mastermind,’ ‘Vigilante S**t,’ ‘Question’ and ‘Midnight Rain.’
The release date for ‘Midnights’ is set for October. Swift revealed the album while accepting 'Video of the Year' at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Shortly after, she sent a message to her fans explaining the album.
Swift's most recent studio albums, ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ were released in 2020. The first two of her re-recorded albums, ‘Fearless (Taylor's Version)’ and ‘Red (Taylor's Version),’ were made available last year.
Swift reportedly declined the opportunity to perform during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in order to concentrate on re-recording the remainder of her discography.
