Post Malone was denied entry into an Australian bar because of his face tattoos! When Malone took a trip to Australia’s west coast, he was denied access to QT Perth’s rooftop bar. The reason being his face tattoos that didn’t meet the venue’s dress standards.
“They turned me away for my tattoos,” he said in an interview. “I’ve never really experienced anything like that.” QT Perth’s rooftop bar has a dress code which prohibits “face, neck and offensive tattoos”. Unfortunately, Post Malone has not one, but many tattoos on his face and neck.
The venue owners have since apologized and issued a statement saying, “At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. QT has been recognized for this for many years.” They added, “however, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to the individuals affected.”
After facing this rejection, Malone went to the 18 Knots rooftop bar to spend time with his fans and even ended up buying them drinks. Malone has been opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers on their six-date stadium tour of Australia.
Malone’s latest studio album ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ ranked at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. This is also his fourth studio album after ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’, ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ and ‘Stoney’. Out of these, the former two have peaked at No. 1 in the week of release in Australia, which makes ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ his third album to debut in the top 10 in the continent.
