Mariah Carey initially received $60 million in royalties when 'All I Want For Christmas is You' debuted almost three decades ago in 1994. The song, part of her fourth studio album 'Merry Christmas,' went on to achieve worldwide success by topping charts in 26 countries.

Since its upload to the official Mariah Carey YouTube Channel in 2009, the music video for the song has amassed 748 million views. While it may require a few more years to reach the one billion views milestone, it's worth noting that the majority of views are concentrated during the holiday season. In contrast, YouTube's top music video, ‘Guns N' Roses' ‘November Rain’,remains a year-round favourite.
