Liam Gallagher has teased a new single, revealing that it
will be released on 1st April. On 27th May, the former
Oasis frontman will release his third solo studio album, 'C'MON YOU KNOW.' The lead
song, 'Everything's Electric,' was released last month and served as a teaser
for the album.
“C’mon You know. Friday," he
captioned his Instagram post, alongside a spray-painted graphic of
the title track's name and a 20-second preview of the thumping music that has
yet to be released.
The announcement follows after Liam filmed a new music video
on "a roof top up North" on 23rd March. As Radio X reported at the
time, several fans thought that Liam's next release might be the title track to
'C'MON YOU KNOW.'
Gallagher will showcase his forthcoming album at a series of massive headline shows this summer, including a two-night billing at Knebworth. Gallagher dedicated a performance of Oasis' ‘Live Forever’ to Taylor Hawkins at his Teenage Cancer Trust gig at London's Royal Albert Hall on 26th March.

The drummer for the Foo Fighters passed away on March 25th
at the age of 50. The band released a statement on social media announcing the
news, but no cause of death was revealed.
In a four-star review of Gallagher’s first official gig of 2022, NME said, “Despite all the success and his rock’n’roll bravado, Liam’s a man of the people and the very best moments of tonight’s show are also the most emotional. Those snarling guitar anthems, with their stories of friendship, love and heartbreak, offer – as always – a sense of escapism.”
