Johnny Depp And Jeff Beck Covered The Velvet Underground’s ‘Venus in Furs’

The Velvet Underground’s ‘Venus In Furs’ has been covered by Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck, which you can listen to below.

Last week, the album was announced, along with a new Velvet Underground cover.

Talking about the collaboration, Beck said that when he and Johnny started playing, it really ignited their youthful spirit and creativity. He also explained that they would always joke about how they felt 18 and this, eventually became the title of their album too. Depp, on the other hand said that it’s an absolute honour to write music with Jeff, and that he feels truly privileged to call him his brother.

Depp won his defamation trial earlier this month, with a jury finding that Heard defamed her ex-husband in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about being a domestic abuse survivor.

Depp was granted $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages as a result of the verdict. For her complaint against Depp, Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages. Heard plans to appeal the verdict.

Depp took to Instagram to thank all his fans and well-wishers for the consistent support and love through his tough times and said that, their constant love is the one thing that kept him going and also helped him get back to music.
