This season, Blake Lively has given us even more motivation to adopt a minimalist style. The 37-year-old ‘It Ends with Us’ actress made a dramatic comeback to the red carpet after a little break after a summer full of vivid floral ensembles. She presented an award at the CFDA Fashion Awards and perfectly exemplified the expression "dressed to impress."
For the event, Lively wore a gorgeous all-white outfit that included a white gown from the Michael Kors Collection with a thigh-high slit and a gathered waist, paired with a matching white jacket. She completed the ensemble with dazzling diamond jewellery and shoes embellished with crystals. Lively is making her debut appearance at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards, which are presented by Cynthia Erivo and recognize fashion superstars like Erykah Badu. She was previously spotted at the event in 2014 with designer Michael Kors, who was getting the Positive Change Award that night.

She sported a Michael Kors Resort minidress from the 1960s in 2014, completed with blush suede heels and an abundance of accessories, such as a headband and layered bangles. She wore a hot pink midi bodycon dress and nude heels for her first appearance at the CFDA in 2009.
Even while Lively has recently reduced her public appearances, her fall wardrobe selections in NYC continue to inspire. She wore a comfortable maroon sweater dress and plum Valentino heels while out on a double date with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
