While many anime series tend to drag on longer than necessary, just as many suffer from being too short. Sometimes, an anime ends before fully adapting its source material, or it wraps up so abruptly that the story feels incomplete, leaving viewers with unsatisfying conclusions that can spoil the entire series.
Numerous excellent anime have been prematurely cancelled, which is particularly unfortunate for a select few. Many series with great stories and creative visuals were cut short before they could finish their narratives. For adaptations, these cancellations often resulted in original endings that completely undermined what fans loved about the anime.
