The Philanthrophist is Demi Rises To The Occassion

Demi Lovato is continuing to show support for the people and organisations fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Just yesterday, the singer took to her social media to say that she wasn’t so sure whether to launch her latest Fabletics Line but decided that it is the right time as it helps to provide inspiration to her fans at home and help those in need.

Demi has also pledged 125 thousand dollars until June 30, she claims that 5 dollars will be taken from every item sold from her Fabletics Line and will go to COVID19RESPONSEFUND of the World Health Organisation. This money will also be used to make gear for those at the frontlines, particularly doctors and nurses.

“In addition to lifting up those in need right now, it’s so important for us all to feel empowered, invincible and strong from the inside out,” she wrote. “My collection is designed to do just that — uplifting you with bold colors and amazing contouring for the biggest confidence boost.”

This news comes from the singer’s performance of ‘Skyscraper’ on 29th March as part of The iHeart Living Room Concert for America where she also spoke about doing everything she can to lift the respondent’s spirits, and encouraged her fans to do the same.

Well, let’s just start by staying home and staying safe.

Lizzo’s Gesture of Gratitude

Who doesn’t love a generous meal? Especially now, when the world is fighting a pandemic. Lizzo, the Grammy Award winner from Detroit, made sure to treat several emergency staff to lunch in their appreciation on National Doctor’s Day! That is just something.

Not only was Lizzo being kind by making sure their stomachs  were full but she also took to social media to thank these heroes at the frontlines, with a sweet message,  “It’s definitely not easy and you guys are putting yourselves on the frontlines, so because of that I wanted to treat y’all to a meal and I really hope that you guys enjoy the food.”

The hospital members at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and ER personnel in Minnesota and The Henry ford News took to Twitter with a hashtag #HealthcareHeroes and showed their appreciation for this gesture by tweeting their love for Lizzo.

Also, after ensuring a safe handover of the food, Lizzo confirmed that her team had put in an enormous amount of effort to safely deliver these meals, and that now, all of them would be doing nothing but staying indoors and praying for the one’s on the field.

The singer also shared a montage video of the medical staff at work in the hospitals and encouraged her fans to donate to the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

This was an incredibly heartwarming gesture and Lizzo, in her own right, is very much a hero too!
