BandLab NME Award categories are created to honour the finest of today’s music, entertainment, and pop culture. Categories have been divided into two broad bands: Global and Regional, to reflect NME’s global reach and to support artists from all over the world. Artists from Southeast Asian countries, Australia, and the United Kingdom will be nominated in categories devoted to their own areas (Asia, Australia, and the United Kingdom), while artists from other countries will be nominated in the Global categories. Artists who have been nominated for Regional awards may also be considered for Global awards.
