The Jonas Brothers Are Gearing Up For A Brand New Collab

This season has blessed us with some of the finest collabs. Most of which, we did not see coming. And now, the Jonas Brothers have realized that their turn has come. The boys surprised fans with news of their brand new collab with the Colombian sensation, Karol G. They’ve joined forces for the upcoming single titled, ‘X’.

The Jonas Brothers took to social media to put out the cover art. It’s simplE and rather aesthetically pleasing. The cover features the letter ‘X’ superimposed on top of blood-red lips. The background is a nice mustard yellow, making the graphics stand out even more. And of course, Jonas Brothers ft. Karol G is in small white text.

The caption didn’t give too much away. Except for one very important detail: the release date. It looks like the track is slated to drop this Friday, the 15th. Their Karol G-assisted track marks the second time the Jonas Brothers have teamed up with a Latin act. Sebastian Yatra, Daddy Yankee, and Natti Natasha have previously hopped aboard their 2019 summer bop, ‘Runaway’.

Now, for those of you who aren’t too familiar with Karol G. Here’s a tiny history lesson. Karol is a Colombian reggaeton singer-songwriter. She’s worked with some of the biggest names when it comes to Latin pop, like, J Balvin, Bad Bunny and a number of other stars. In fact, just last year she even collaborated with Nicki Minaj on a track titled, ‘Tusa’ which became a global success. Oh and not to mention the fact that she’s won a Latin Grammy award in the Best New Artist category.

Anyway, now back to the Jonas Brothers. On release day, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas will participate and answer fan questions in a virtual session. They also plan to interact with an audience of frontline healthcare workers and their families from across the country.

The boys haven’t had a minute to breathe lately, as just last week they announced their participation in the All-In Challenge. They’ve decided to fly down to the lucky winner’s hometown and throw a barbeque party with them – which might just be the wildest offer out there.

For Now, ‘X’ is out on May 15th, so mark your calendars.
