Sia Delivers The World Premiere Of ‘Hey Boy’
The ‘Cheapthrills’ fame singer, Sia performed a single called ‘Hey Boy’ from her much-awaited album, “Music” at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The award ceremony was aired on Dec 6th at 8 pm ET/PT. And, as usual, she killed it, with the whole act.
What A Woo(f)ing Performance
The pre-recorded event saw the singer perform in front of a green screen. On the stage were several background dancers dressed like shaggy dogs. Unusual but surely something Sia can pull off.
The idea was to transform the stage to look like a dog park amidst which the singer was filmed performing. Of course, the show couldn’t have been complete without Maddie Ziegler. She was present to introduce Sia.
MTV Movie and TV Awards saw some stellar performances while some of our favourite actors’ work was honoured. The show hosted by Vannessa Hudgens was surely a hit and Sia surprised the audience with her performance.
The Album Is On The Way!
Sia has been teasing her fans with snippets of the movie and album for a while now. She also shared a teaser of the track ‘Hey Boy’ which dropped on November 19th. In a post, the singer mentions that the album is will be out on the 12th of February, 2021. The record will also feature tracks like ‘Together’, ‘Courage to Change’ and ‘Saved My Life’ among others.
“Music”: The Movie & Album
Sia has been going all-in with exciting projects. The movie, “Music” that will also mark her directorial debut is all set to release in early 2021. It is a follow up of 2017s “Everyday Is Christmas”. The movie is set to release in IMAX theatres with the limited audience only, keeping the pandemic in mind. The fans can’t wait to watch her fruit of labour, love and art!
