Nicki is Here To Stay!

Nicki Minaj debuted in 2007 with a mixtape called ‘Playtime Is Over’ and went onto become the first and only woman to score 100 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, redefining success for women in hip-hop this decade.

Minaj set the Internet buzzing back in September when she spoke about retiring from the music scene. From dropping jaws with Anaconda to collaborating with stars like David Guetta, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5 and more, she was on the top of her game and the news came as a shocker to literally everybody.

The songstress had taken to Twitter to announce that she was retiring from the music scene to focus on her personal life. But thankfully and surprisingly, the rapper released new music in the same month. Seems like the Billboard’s inaugural Game-Changer isn’t done yet. “I’m a perfectionist and love topping myself,” said Minaj, “so as long as I love music, I’ll always be doing that.” Fans couldn’t be happier! However, she also added, “But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life. I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass. I have to make sure that I’m well-rounded as a human being.”

Nicki also had a huge life update for her fans in October when she announced that she got married to beau, Kenneth Petty. The Bang-bang rapper is now focused on expanding her business that includes a liquor company, Queen Radio in partnership with Italian luxury fashion house, Fendi.

Minaj said in a recent interview that it may just be the beginning of an unforgettable 2020. The rapper admitted that she’s been planning on her goal to become a big businesswoman and after her clarification, we already know that her music will definitely win over hearts like always.
