Miley Cyrus Drops ‘Edge of Midnight’ With Stevie Nicks

Miley Cyrus has delivered the ultimate taste of her upcoming rock album, ‘Plastic Hearts’. And, this bite arrived in the form of a remix of her previously released hit single, ‘Midnight Sky’. The track, called ‘Edge of Midnight’ features none other than rock singer-songwriter, Stevie Nicks.

Earlier today, Cyrus took to social media to share the news with a heartfelt caption. She wrote, “Stevie Nicks has always been my idol & an inspiration. It’s an honor to now call her my friend and collaborator.” Further, Stevie Nicks followed suit, sharing the remix on her Twitter, too. The track will feature on Cyrus’ upcoming album, ‘Plastic Hearts’, along with the original single, ‘Midnight Sky’. In addition, the release will feature official mixes of two previously performed covers – ‘Heart of Glass’ by Blondie and ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries.

Miley Cyrus announced the release of her album late last month. The project will serve as a follow up to her 2019 release, an EP titled, “She Is Coming”. Further, “Plastic Hearts” will mark of he her seventh full-length studio album, and is slated for release on the 27th of November.

Cyrus’ upcoming era is characterised by rock and 80s dicso-pop elements. Taking from various musical influences, the new catalogue boasts a new form on the star’s discography. Aside from the album, the star has been busy promoting the upcoming record with live performances and a brand new edition of her cover series, ‘Backyard Sessions’. The singer-songwriter stunned with covers of Britney pears’ ‘Gimme More’, music from Velvet Underground and more.

‘Midnight Sky’ and ‘Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky remix)’ are out now, and available on all streaming platforms.
