Meghan Trainor reveals her Baby Boy’s Health Complications

Meghan Trainor on June 2nd, Wednesday, opened up about her son’s health complications when he came into the world.

In February of this year, the 27-year-old “All About That Bass” singer welcomed her first child with her husband Daryl Sabara. She explained the breathing complications her now 3-month-old son Riley faced when he was born. Riley arrived one week early at a healthy weight of 7 pounds and 8 ounces but was taken to the hospital’s  NICU right after he was born, where he had to use a feeding tube. Meghan explains the painful experience of not being able to bond with her newborn as she was able to see him for only a second.

“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry,” Meghan shared. “He didn’t make noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’ Then they told me he was having breathing issues. It was terrifying.”, says Meghan. She continues by saying that they were so lucky to take him home after five days of being in the hospital when Riley was fine. Meghan says that her son is perfect and healthy now though they had a rocky start.
