Lana Del Rey seems to be having trouble with her recently announced studio album, ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’. The album, which saw an initial delay in release due to the pandemic has been delayed again. And, this time, the album is slated for release 16 weeks after the initially set date.

‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, which saw an initial release date of Sept. 5th, 2020, was set to arrive sometime this month. But, much to fans’ disappointment, the album will now arrive sometime next year, due to a halt in the production process in the backdrop of the pandemic. Del Rey took to Instagram LIVE to chat about the album, the ongoing US elections and more. And, she revealed that the factories responsible for production can only be opened on the 5th of March, 2021.

“Chemtrails Over the Country Club… 16-week delay on the vinyl process,” she said. But, soon, she followed the news up with some happy revelations. “So in the meantime, I’m going to give you a digital record of American standards and classics for Christmas,” said Del Rey, exciting fans world over.

Del Rey released the first single from the album last month. The melodic, layered track titled, ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’, detailed romantic pleas to her lover.

Stay tuned for updates about the release date of ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ and her holiday catalogue.
