Lady Gaga To Launch Gaga Radio On Apple Music

Lady Gaga is set to launch a radio show devoted to dance, music and artists behind music on Apple Music. The show will premiere on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11 am PST. This is not only the big news! Every week, a new episode will be produced.

Lady Gaga said in a statement, “The last few weeks I’ve been figuring out different ways at home that I can be of service to what I would call the singular global community. One that I believe to be kind in nature, one that I believe to be very special to my heart and I believe to the hearts of many. And so I’ve been thinking of all the ways that I can be someone that contributes to the society and the world. I’m super thrilled, excited to have this show and this opportunity to play an incredible mix of music every week.”

Gaga Radio’s Inspiration

According to the description of Gaga Radio, the inspiration for the show is her latest album, “Chromatica“. The album talks about mental health, loneliness, depression, finding love, trauma of sexual assault and more. It also features BlackPink, Elton John and Ariana Grande.

“The inspiration for Lady Gaga’s hyperactive 2020 album Chromatica came from one magical place: the dance floor. A joyride of glittery synths and let-your-hair-down hooks, it captures the singular, soul-cleansing euphoria found from sweating under a disco ball. Every Friday on GAGA RADIO, she honors dance music by speaking with the DJs, divas, and producers who inspired her and helped bring Chromatica to life. Each episode will also include an exclusive DJ mix from one of Gaga’s guests. It’s a celebration of dance music when we need it most.”

The Gaga Radio will have shows which will have exclusive DJ mixes from BloodPop, Burns, Vitalclub and TChami. The first episode will feature the “Chromatica” producer, BlooodPop and with every week, a new DJ mix of a Gaga song will come out.
