Just gotta Lauv the new single ‘sims’

An ‘Inside Out’ inspired short film by Lauv? Yep, we’re first in line to watch it. Lauv, the American singer/ songwriter dropped his new track ‘Sims’ which is one among the 21 tracks from his forthcoming debut album ‘~how I’m feeling~’.

In the said short film, Lauv gives us a glance of what it’s like inside his head as the mini Lauv voices take over while he tries to woo a girl in his apartment building. The artist tries to convey that we’re all more than just one identity and that one needs to embrace it all to be true to oneself.

He added on Instagram, “This music video means everything to me. It explains the whole concept of the album and the different characters. Making it took my entire soul… plus it’s also pretty funny. I’m so excited for the rest of this era.”

The new album “~how I’m feeling~” is set to release on March 6th, next year. Lauv has already released 5 other tracks which belong to his debut album along with collabs with artists like Troye Sivan and Anne Marie. Lauv also formed a bond with the booming Kpop band, BTS, after they put out a remixed version of the track ‘Make it Right’.
