Juice WRLD & Young Thug’s ‘Bad Boy’ Debuts In Top 10

Juice WRLD has continued to live through his music and this time, his track has made it to the top 10 on the Billboard – Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. His latest collaboration with Young Thug, ‘Bad Boy’ has debuted at No.9 on the charts.

The Numbers

The track by Juice WRLD starts with 18.5 million U.S streams in the week ending on January 21st, according to data. This is enough to open at No.2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart. ‘Bad Boy’ follows SZA’s ‘Good Days’ with the ranking and becomes the week’s most streamed rap title standing tall at the top of the Rap Streaming Songs list.

Cole Bennett who leads the multimedia company, Lyrical Lemonade collaborated with Juice WRLD on majority of his music videos. He announced that ‘Bad Boy’ contained footage that him and the rapper shot together before Juice died in December 2019. This may have contributed to the song streams due to a publicity boost as well.

The track also sold 2000 downloads during the same time pushing the track to start at No. 12 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital song sales chart. The track was a hit on radio as well yielding 88,000 in the form of audience in the week that ended on 24th January.

Juice WRLD Hits!

‘Bad Boy’ kicks off at the no.7 spot on Hot Rap songs and No.22 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart. ‘Bad Boy’ is also Juice WRLD’s ninth to debut in the region. His only other songs that started outside the top 10 on the Hot R&B/ Hip-Hop songs chart are his breakthrough track, ‘Lucid Dreams’ that opened at No.38 and ‘Life’s A Mess’ featuring Halsey that enter at No.40.
