Injury ain’t stopping Sting

English musician Sting’s passion to perform on stage knows no bounds. At 68, the man with 17 Grammys in his kitty will not let a shoulder injury stop him from taking on the microphone.

Sporting a sling, the singer posted a video on Instagram informing his fans and followers of the ordeal he had to undergo.

Sting said, “I tore a tendon the other night, last Thursday, and had surgery yesterday…”

Unfazed and determined, the musician found himself in Bordeaux, France, a day after his surgery, eager to perform.

“…But tonight, we’re in Bordeaux. The show must go on”, he continued, listing out his journey forward to upcoming performances in Europe and America.

“We’re not stopping,” he exclaimed, much to the delight of his thousands of followers and fans who wished him a speedy recovery.

The last time we checked the video had received over 101k views.

The singer reportedly had to cancel a number of shows in Europe in July citing an unspecified illness, but this time, he will not let a shoulder sting stop him.
