Foo Fighters Announce Their Appearance At #SOSFEST

Foo Fighters are taking the stage of Save Out Stages Fest. On October 8, 2020, the official Youtube handle of NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) announced the line up for their Save Our Stages Fest. They made the announcement via a short teaser video that gave us insight into the various artists that will be performing.

Reggie Watts is going to host the three-day event featuring the Foo Fighters. The fest will take place on October 16-18. Brittany Howard, the Roots, Marshmello, Demi Lovato, and many more will be taking the stage, as well.

What’s #SOSFEST?

The three-day virtual benefit festival featuring the Foo Fighters is aimed to benefit independent music venues. These venues have been affected by the pandemic.

The video description goes on to mention, “Featuring original performances and commentary from diverse talent across genres and shot live at iconic indie stages, #SOSFEST aims to preserve our nation’s independent live music scene.”

Foo Fighters Announce New Digital Zine:

Foo Fighters took to their social media to announce the release of a brand new digital zine. The published work is titled ‘The People Of Rock and Roll.’ because why not? The zine is a celebration of the 25 years of Foo Fighters have been together since their self-titled debut album. The digital magazine has over 135 pages of stories. The Foo Fighters zine is sorted out by chapters and stories specific to certain band members or locations.

The band on Twitter explained thanked the fans. “There wouldn’t be 25 years of Foo Fighters without YOU – the People of Rock and Roll! Thank you for sharing your stories and being a part of the journey.”

This allows fans to send out a tribute to their favourite band. And, also is the perfect way to cap off an epic 25-year journey. We love it and wish them so much more success in the coming years and expect more music from them, as well.
