Finneas was requested to share his “worst embarrassing moment” by a fan, and he shared a story about an incident that occurred at one of Swift’s birthday parties.

“I said ‘thanks for coming’ to Taylor Swift at her own birthday party,” he explained. “Meant to say ‘thanks for inviting me’ or whatever, obviously.”

Finneas was recently honoured with a Golden Globe for Best Original Song, which he shared with his sister Billie Eilish for their work on the James Bond flick No Time To Die’s title song.

For ‘No Time To Die,’ the sibling duo has also been nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Original Song. The entire list of Oscar nominees will be unveiled on February 8, with the song up against Beyoncé’s ‘Be Alive’ from King Richard, Jay-Z and Kid Cudi’s ‘Guns Go Bang’ from The Harder They Fall, and SZA’s ‘The Anonymous Ones’ from Dear Even Hansen. Finneas released a video for his tune “The Kids Are All Dying” earlier this month.

“Even if we are living through a time of chaos and uncertainty, the human experience is never going to exclude love, sex, fun, leisure, and adventure,” Finneas said in a press release about the song’s meaning. “If you’re in love, you’re going to write a love song. It’s how the brain works.”
