EXO’s Chen Gears Up For An October Comeback with ‘Hello’

Chen from the buzzing Kpop act, EXO, just landed with a new offering for fans to lap up: a fresh single titled, ‘Hello’. As many members of EXO are currently completing their mandatory military duties, the band’s activities on the music front have been put on hold. And so, the remaining few members have embarked on their solo endeavours or in the case of Baekhyun and Kai, they’ve been involved with the up and coming, SuperM.

Now, Chen took to social media to break the news on his upcoming single. The artist shared the cover art for the track and it’s simply stunning. It features a painting of a figure gazing out at the setting sun while leaves are carried by the wind, along a violet sky. 

‘Hello’ will mark Chen’s first solo single of 2020. The artist initially kick started his solo career in April of 2019. During that time, he put out his debut solo record, “April, and a Flower” which nursed a good six tracks The moving tune, ‘Beautiful Goodbye‘ served as the album’s lead single. 

Following this, his second mini-album, “Dear My Dear” made its landing on October 1st, 2019. This project also witnessed six tracks, with ‘Shall We?’ serving as its title track. In fact, this mini-album did exceedingly well on the charts. It claimed the throne at the No. 1 spot on iTunes charts across 36 different countries. 

Chen has been slightly quiet on the music front this year following the announcement of his marriage to a non-celebrity and birth of his first child in late April. 

‘Hello’ will mark his official return to the music scene, when the song makes its descent on October 15th.
