EXO’s Baekhyun Steals Hearts With New Track ‘Every Second’

Baekhyun of the seasoned Kpop act, EXO, just dropped a brand new tune. Titled, ‘Every Second’, this song features on the slice of life South Korean drama, ‘Record of Youth’. 

Sprinkled with a tinkling piano riff and Baekhyun’s soulful melodies, ‘Every Second’ clutches your heart in a strong grip from start to finish. This soundtrack also witnesses the young star’s starry falsettos as he sings, 

Whatever you want Whatever you say
So that you can always put up a smile

I, the one who you see will never change a bit

no matter what the reasons are
I’ll stay with you the way I am at this moment with you

‘Record of Youth’ traces the lives of a model and stylist, who are still in the process of navigating adulthood, their careers and love. One glance at the songwriting on ‘Every Second’ and you’ll see that it’s a gooey take on a budding relationship. 

Now, Baekhyun has also been quite preoccupied with the buzzing group, SuperM, as they’re currently preparing for a comeback. The band, lead by Baekhyun, have already dropped two scorching singles, ‘100’ and ‘Tiger Inside’ which will find a space on their forthcoming album, “Super One“.

Coming to the young star’s solo endeavours, in May he created quite the ripple with the release of his second EP, ‘Delight’. Filled to the brim with sultry, bedroom pop tunes, the EP also arrived with a visualizer for its lead track, ‘Candy‘. ‘Delight’ also earned Baekhyun another impressive feather to his cap, as it garnered over 732,000 pre-orders, making it the most pre-ordered album by a soloist in South Korean history. 

And now, with a new soundtrack under his belt, Baekhyun continues to soar in the K-world.
