Drake Unveils ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Album Trailer

Canadian rapper, Drake, just unveiled the first look at his upcoming album, ‘Certified Lover Boy’. The ‘Passionfruit’ hitmaker released a minute long album trailer. The moody visualiser features frames of a young Drake looking up at a UFO, a few pensive shots of the rapper and a whole lot of lo-fi ambient music.

Further, the trailer confirmed the release date of “Certified Lover Boy”. The studio album is slated for release in the month of January, 2021. Further, it will serve as Drake’s sixth studio album. In addition, the album trailer featured references to the rapper’s previous album covers: “So Far Gone”, “Take Care”, “Nothing Was the Same” and “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”.

Drake first teased the release of the upcoming album earlier this year. The announcement came hours before the release of his mixtape, “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”. Further, 2020 has been a busy year for the rapper with a slew of collaborations. He featured on two tracks with DJ Khaled – ‘Popstar’ and ‘Greece’. The former proved to be a commercial hit, getting picked up for radio play soon after release.

Further, Drake recently released the first single from “Certified Lover Boy” – ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ featuring Lil Durk. The track quickly climbed up the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and other music surveys world over.
