Conan Gray Announces Collaboration with Lauv: ‘Fake’

Conan Gray and Lauv team up for a first time collaboration - 'Fake'

Conan Gray is here to have some fun. And, accompanying him on that vibe check is none other than pop music’s favourite romantic – Lauv. Gray took to social media to announce a brand new collaboration late last night. And, he was soon followed by Lauv, promoting their new project – a track called, ‘Fake’.

Gray took to Instagram to share a short snippet of the upcoming collaboration. The video featured Lauv and himself, up close, in frame dancing in cowboy attire, with thick coats. In fact, the clip is what you’d call chaotic. But, to fans’ surprise, the clip ends with the title and release date of the track.

Further, the snippet was accompanied by the caption, :”Lauv and Conan are Fake.” The track is slated for release on the 13th of October, 9 AM PST. However, the video wasn’t accompanied by an audio. So, fans will have to wait a short while before they can get a taste of the collaboration.

‘Fake’ marks the first pairing up between Lauv and Gray. Both artists have been enjoying their respective waves of success. Conan Gray made a splash on music charts world over following the release of his hit single, ‘Maniac’. And, has since been nominated at the EMAs, and other award shows in the Best New Artist category. In addition, Lauv continues his reign of pop music globally. The singer-songwriter saw massive success with his melancholic pop single, ‘Modern Loneliness’, and has since released his debut studio album, “How I’m Feeling”.

‘Fake’ is slated for release on the 13th of October, 2020.
