Cardi B Opens Up About Her Split From Offset

This past week has proven to be quite the rollercoaster ride for Cardi B. On Tuesday, September 15th, she filed for a divorce from her husband, Offset. And three days later, she dropped her buzzing collaboration with the Brazilian sensation, Anitta. Well, either Cardi’s strong suit is multitasking or she’s not too torn up about her separation from Offset. 

Cardi B & Offset: What Went Down?

Either way, the young rapper recently went live on Instagram to discuss exactly what went down between her and Offset. Cardi started off with, “I wanted to let y’all know I have not shed not one tear.” She then went on to dispel all the rumours swarming around her divorce. 

“Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, so f****ed up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of shit. This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that shit that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating. I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f****ing complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullshit,” Cardi explained. 

Cardi then confessed that she was simply fed up of arguing all the time. “I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave,” she confessed. 

Now, Cardi and Offset have been married for three years and do have a child together. Yet, the rapper did confess that despite all the experiences they’ve shared, they’ve grown apart. And sometimes, you can’t stop it from happening when it’s already in motion. 

“Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart. I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man…sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave,” Cardi shared. 

Cardi B is currently still navigating her love life. But on the music front the star’s shown simply no signs of slowing down.
