BTS Reign Supreme Atop The Billboard Hot 100 For Their 2nd Week

Just last week, BTS made history when they scored the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They became the first South Korean act to achieve this brilliant feat and the first Asian act to dominate the chart in a whopping 57 years! And now, it looks like they’re on a real winning streak as ‘Dynamite‘ continues to bask under the spotlight for its second week on the chart.

To celebrate this new victory, the boys recently took to Twitter to put out a brief clip of their reaction to this news. It featured all seven members – Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook hooting and cheering, completely overwhelmed by their latest accomplishment.

BTS also captioned the clip with, “This is just” along with a hashtag in Korean which translated to, “Our ARMY Got an Award”. Well, what is BTS without their fans? In fact, for a peek at their impact, take a look at the number of U.S streams ‘Dynamite’ raked in: 17.5 million in the week ending September 3rd. These fabulous streaming figures have also allowed the band to enjoy their time at the No. 1 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

In fact, while we’re on the topic of streaming numbers, among the list of countries that viewed ‘Dynamite’ the most within the first 24 hours of its release, India contributed a reported 8.6 million views. Not long after, the track even broke the record for most ever streams of a song on Spotify India in a week, with a whopping 2.4 million streams.

And while the band’s impact continues to be felt in every corner of the globe, they remain in awe of their abilities, “We’re really grateful that our music can act as a bridge to connect us to fans everywhere,” they confessed.
