BTS Notch Another Impressive Chart Win

With every week that goes by, BTS seems to be reaching new heights. In early July, their third studio album, ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ became the first Korean album to spend a whopping 100 weeks on Billboard’s World Albums chart. And now, yet another album of theirs has joined this league: ‘Love Yourself: Answer‘.

Released in August, 2018, this album witnessed a fresh cocktail of remixes of some of their older numbers. But it also brought some new bangers to the front of the stage like, ‘Idol,’ ‘Epiphany,’ ‘Euphoria’ and more.

A Dip Into Chart History

Now, diving deep into the chart history,  NCT 127’s “Neo Zone” landed at the No. 3 spot on the World Albums Chart this week after a 20 week run. This is followed by BTS’s latest Japanese record, ‘Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~’ which sits at No. 4 after two weeks. And staying strong at No. 5 is their 2019 album, ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ which has just completed a good 67 weeks on the charts.

While we’re on the topic of stellar achievements, earlier in the month, the band also surpassed Adele’s record on the iTunes chart, scoring over 104 No. 1s with their track, ‘Black Swan’.

So, like we mentioned before, every week seems to bear witness to a new, spectacular feat. And it looks like BTS will undoubtedly continue on their winning streak for a long time to come.
