BTS Costumes From ‘Dynamite’ Sells Big

BTS bowled everyone over with their music in ‘Dynamite’ and nailed their appearance with the colorful ensemble in the music video as well. Their ensembles became the top-selling items at an event that Julien’s Auction hosted on Sunday, 31st January.

The collection of BTS ‘s outfits sold for a sum of $162,500. Yes we are gasping too! That is a number more than eight times the estimated amount according to a press release. The auction was held to benefit MusiCares. The buyers were Yusaku Maezawa a Japanese art collector and YouTuber HIAKIN.

Apart from BTS, another painting featuring a self-portrait of a dog of Snoop Dogg wearing a Doggy Stule 25 gold chain singed by the rapper was the next big seller at $96,000. An original painting of Coldplay’s Chris Martin by Billy Morrison, a Schecter bass guitar signed by Nikki Sixx with a handwritten note were among the other top-sellers at the auction.

All the proceeds from the BTS auction will go to MusiCares, an organization aiding artists and music community professionals in times of need.
