BLACKPINK took their music and work to the Jimmy Kimmel Live show earlier today. The South Korean stars appeared in a short interview, and eventually lit up the stage with a performance of ‘Lovesick Girls’. The girls have experienced mega success with the release of their debut studio album: “BLACKPINK: The Album’. And, luckily for fans, their promotions this time around includes a string of appearances, including Korean variety TV shows. 

On ‘WAP’, ‘Coachella’ & Being Famous

In this interview, BLACKPINK caught up with Jimmy Kimmel over video chat, all the way from South Korea. The girls spilled the beans on all things music. From taking Coachella by storm in 2019 to their latest documentary, ‘Light Up the Sky’ – all of it.

In addition, speaking of their unprecedented fame, the girls revealed their strategy when it comes to being in public. Rose quipped, “We put on our hoodies and just try to act super manly, you know?”. Moving on, shining a light on their time as K-Pop trainees, they gave the Jimmy Kimmel a glimpse of what the process involved. 

BLACKPINK Lights Up the Stage

In the final segment of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, BLACKPINK delivered an energetic performance of their latest hit, ‘Lovesick Girls’. The acoustic, pop medley features bubbly vocals and mellow raps, accompanied by upbeat choreography, different from the girls’ signature moves. 

“BLACKPINK: The Album” and ‘Lovesick Girls’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
