BLACKPINK Drop Cryptic New Teaser

K-Pop mega-group BLACKPINK have been flooding headlines as of late, and here’s why: this follows following multiple victories swarming around their debut album and a fresh teaser hinting at a new chapter in their book. 

The band recently took to social media to put out a brief clip. It featured satellite imagery of a number of locations across the world, from New York to London and Istanbul to Rio De Janeiro – time frames accompanied each visual. The caption simply read, “BLACKPINK AROUND THE WORLD. Coming Soon!”

From the looks of it, there’s a high possibility the girls are planning for a new virtual concert for BLINKS all around the globe. Preceding the release of their album “BE”, BTS did something similar with ‘Map of the Soul ON:E‘. The ticketed event made way for a show like no other, featuring massive sets, brilliant lighting and the band debuting live renditions of hits from, “Map of the Soul: 7”. 

In other news, Variety has officially named BLACKPINK its Group of the Year for 2020! December will witness a special program hosted by Variety, honoring the award recipients who would be featured in their upcoming annual Hitmakers issue. This marks the very first time BLACKPINK will be holding this prestigious title. 

Circling back to their cryptic teaser, it’s only a matter of time until the girls unveil what they’ve got in store. And you can bet, we’re just itching to find out.
